All custom dog beds are designed in-house and made on-site in our Yorkshire factory, and we source only high-quality materials for production. Below, you’ll be able to input exact size, select filling and cover type, and get an instant quote.

Wait for your custom dog bed to arrive. Every dog bed is made by hand in yorkshire. They may take between 3 and 4 weeks to arrive. It will be sent out with DHL and you will receive and email a tracking number once it has been dispatched.

HOW TO CHOOSE A FILLING TYPE

There are three different filling types to choose from with our bespoke dog bed design service. The standard fibre filling is the most cost-effective – but depending on your dog’s age or health needs, you may want to upgrade to a foam or memory foam filling.

FIBRE

Compressed fibre pads deliver high rebound with our custom dog beds, and are made with 100% polyester fibre (70% of which is derived from recycled plastic bottles). Please note that not all sizes are available with fibre filling. For sizes which do not fit, we will automatically upgrade your order to foam filling.

HIGH DENSITY FOAM

High density open cell foam is more expensive than fiber but is longer lasting and more suitable for heavier dogs. When compressed, it can quickly return to its original state due to its unrestricted airflow. This filling is also soft to the touch, breathable, flexible, and can easily conform to objects.

MEMORY FOAM

We use high quality, medical pressure care grade memory foam with a base layer of high density 39/200 foam. A memory foam dog bed can mold to and support your dog’s body during rest. It may also make a good orthopaedic bed for dogs suffering from the following:

  • Arthritis
  • Hip dysplasia
  • Back or muscle problems
  • Joint problems
  • Soft tissue injuries

Ideally used with the PU fabric option, as it has the ability to stretch with the memory foam. We don’t recommend this filling with PVC options.

CUSTOM DOG BED COVERS

Choose from three different covers depending on your needs and budget. Our standard cover is vinyl, but you may wish to upgrade if you need something a little more durable.

PU

Medical grade waterproof PU that has been heat sealed for excellent incontinence protection. Our PU fabric is flame-resistant, UV inhibited, anti-fungal, and efficiently repels odour and dirt. Easily cleaned with a mild detergent and a cloth. A flap covers the zip down one of the long sides.

PVC (TOUGH CHEW)

Our toughest cover for custom dog beds (as seen with our bestselling Tough Chew products). This is 450GSM PVC, fully sealed and sewn closed for effective tamper-proofing and to keep the core clean. Chew resistant and great for destructive dogs!

VINYL

This is a vinyl coated polyester and it’s a waterproof light fabric (103gsm/4oz per sq meter). Great for easy clean-ups and the zipped cover is super handy if you need to remove it.

All of our bespoke dog beds are made in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and we promise value for money with every purchase. At Maximum Pet Products, we work with customers to design and manufacture over 95% of the products that we offer, and there are no middlemen or high mark-ups.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does it take for bespoke dog beds to be made?

Our custom size dog beds can take around 3/4 weeks to be made in our local factory in Yorkshire. As soon as we have made the item, it will be ready for shipping out to you. We offer free UK postage on all orders and we use TNT / Fedex for next day delivery as standard to all UK mainland customers. Is the memory foam dog bed the best option?

Generally speaking, memory foam is a premium choice for dog beds (and it’s the most expensive filling option). A medical grade memory foam dog bed can offer superior comfort, pressure relief and joint support – making it great for older dogs, or dogs suffering with aches and pains. But please bear in mind that all dogs are different, so memory foam may not be ideal for every pet.

Typically, younger pups don’t need the orthopaedic support so it may not be a worthwhile investment, and others may not enjoy firm surfaces to rest on. The memory foam filling is also best with a PU cover due to the way it stretches, so wouldn’t be suitable for PVC. Can I return my item if I’m not happy with it?

Bespoke products are one-of-a-kind and cannot be returned. So please be sure you double check the size, colour, filling and cover material before ordering. If you are unsure about which filling or cover materials are the most suitable for your pet, we recommend speaking to our team first.
