Our dog training leads and close control leads are designed to be extremely durable and resistant to wear and tear, as well as chewing. But no matter how strong the material, no product is ever completely indestructible. All dogs are unique, and some are more aggressive chewers than others. So please bear this in mind when ordering.

We have both long and short training leads for dogs of all shapes and sizes. If you have a larger or hard-to-control dog, you may find our police dog training leads to be suitable. All of our leashes feature a 440kg breaking strain, which means they can withstand significant force.

Yes, we have dog training leads in a wide selection of lengths for you to choose from, ranging from 5ft to 200ft. Our longest lengths allow for a greater amount of freedom during recall practice, and give independent explorers the feeling of being ‘off the lead’ without owners losing control.

If you have a dog that doesn’t like to be on a short leash, our longer leads can help you satisfy their need for running around.

Chewing is a natural instinct in dogs and can be for a number of reasons, such as stress and anxiety, excitement and overstimulation, boredom, discomfort, teething (in puppies), or simply a learned behaviour. To prevent chewing from getting too destructive, it’s important to provide suitable chew alternatives (like a variety of toys).

Behavioural training such as redirection and positive reinforcement can also help you improve chewing frequency. In a lot of cases, it helps to establish the reason for the chewing in the first place. By identifying the root cause, you can help to support your dog in the right way.
